November 2017 officially marked our partnership with New York On Tech.
‘Succeeding in a Digital Economy’ was a two-hour networking event and panel discussion for underserved high school students, aimed at helping them create an online presence.
The Guest Speakers
Hillan Klein, our Chief Operating Officer, gave the keynote speech and officially announced Namecheap’s partnership with New York on Tech. Also presenting at the event were other industry professionals, including Jessica Santana and Evin F. Robinson, the co-founders of New York on Tech.
The speakers shared their knowledge and experiences to a room full of attentive students, who engaged with what they spoke about.
Here’s what people had to say about the event:
Namecheap will be offering free resources and training at workshops, where students will learn how to utilize tools to create their online presence. These workshops are designed to be relevant to the students’ progression, and teach them skills easily transferable to a workplace or college. We will run the workshops throughout the spring.
We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to New York On Tech and everyone who helped us make the networking launch event possible.
If you are one of the students who attended, and would like to share your story with us, get in touch—we’d love to hear from you!
